Alecia Walls-Barton is a fine art photographer and textile artist living in Little Rock, Arkansas. She received a MA in Studio Art from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2017 and a BFA from Memphis College of Art in 2011. Alecia's work is an expression of traditional and alternative methods of photography and textile, embracing contemporary printing methods and making images with a manual view camera. Her work is both conceptual and process driven, drawing on her own personal experience of memory and art making. Alecia's work been featured in solo and group exhibitions nationwide and is currently being shown in many fine art spaces in Central Arkansas.  


When Alecia Walls-Barton was a little girl, she loved watching her grandfather work with fabrics in the small shop in his home in Sheridan, Arkansas.
